FX OPTIONS: GBP/USD End-January 2.00 Strike

Based on one of my sources that a 2.0000 option strike recently traded for an end-January expiry date in fair size at 7.65 pct. 2.0000 is an oft-mentioned GBP/USD bull target (2.0100 was the September 1992 high, pre-Black Wednesday). On the exotic front: barriers are tipped at 1.9750, 1.9800, and 1.9900. Cable scaled fresh 14-year highs just shy of 1.9750 late in today's Asian session.
